But get this, we've made progress as far as setting Petco straight. The manager said he'd set stuff straight, the DM went down, found some more sick animals and SAID they corrected the issue, and get this, they're refunding us, paying for the vet bills, and the next time they aren't charging us the next time we go to their store. So I'm not going to lie, I feel like I am taking advantage of this situation, but then again, they were wrong. Everett was miserable, and who knows what would've happened to him had I left him there for them to care for him (he'd probably be that much closer to death), or even worse, if someone who didnt know what they were looking at bought him, and he ended up dying with not even a chance at life. So I'm sorry, but I feel this is a good way to make it up to him. When we go over there, it wont be to just buy things we don't need, it'll all be for the little guy, because this is his chance to get better, his chance to have a good life, and he deserves that chance.
