I want to make a point first, I KNOW I don't upload as many of my drawings as I should and that I don't upload as often as I should, but thats because I find myself bound more to writing little stories for these drawings because I find that I am much better with explaining with words than getting images out onto the paper (though that is not to say I don't LOVE drawing. Combined with music drawing is the way i best escape the world).
Anyway, I have all of these unfinished and draft stories and I really want peoples honest opinions and thoughts, because occasionally I get stuck and need a little criticism or some small idea to help get my train of thought moving again. The thing is, The only thing I ever upload is pictures I've drawn, and I don't even know how many people even read these stories or the poetry at all. Aside from it all I just want to share my ideas with people and hear what they think, see if I'm doing anything wrong, or if it could be done better, that is why some of us upload our art, because there are people who like honest criticism.

So I am sure that you guys have seen the little baby dragon I have posted up with a nice chunk missing from his face... well... He's doin good, and that makes me happy. He's taken well to his meds, he's got energy, and he's looking forward to eating REAL FOOD. Yeah his face is still in pretty bad shape, and the scales are still falling off in clumps (as well as the fungus), but that's progress. The dead is falling off, and he is healing a little bit each day, So things look good!

The anticipation is literally killing me. In just a few weeks I'll be helping a bunch of other guys take pictures of their cars, maybe it doesn't sound bad to anyone else here, but when you feel like you don't know what you're doing, the excitement and terror can have you belly up. My new Camera isn't all that bad, so it's not really the quality of it all, but it's more of how to go about improving the outcome of the pictures. What angles, times of day, should I add the driver, how many pictures do I take? The list goes on. And I find that the internet is an amazing resource, but sometimes I feel like it's not enough, or maybe I'm just not lo

So I guess this is a journal that partly explains my inactivity here on DA, and the rest id just kind of me ranting for those who care to listen.
So as I have said, I've been pretty damn inactive, but that doesnt mean I haven't been keeping art in my life! Albeit, I have traded one art for another, but it is still art. I have gone from digital/traditional drawing to photography, using cars and my beloved pets as my practice subjects, and while I do like taking pictures, I feel kind of bad for dropping drawing. I guess it is all because I no longer have the time to take 4-5 hours out of my day to practice and sketch out things that I wo
